In the early 1980s, Peru had recently transitioned from a dictatorial regime and was witnessing a moment of uprisings where the expectation of new times met growing violence. While this context permeates the show, the plot is focused on a particular universe: inside a middle-class home in Lima. Everything happens over the course of one day, when the family is organizing a lunch party for a candidate running for city government, and his victory could mean a good job to the patriarch of the family. Focused on the preparations, however, the family does not realize the chaos that consumes them and deteriorates their relationships.

Marisol Palacios has a degree from the theater school of the Catholic University of Peru. She was an intern at Théâtre du Soleil, in Paris, where she specialized in theater direction. She was involved in the creation of Lima’s Festival de Artes Escénicas — FAEL and the FAE Lima festival, in which she was artistic director.

Aldo Miyashiro is an actor, social communicator, scriptwriter, playwright, and tv host. He was in the shows Misterio y Tony Blades and La Gran Sangre, and he is the author of the book Un Misterio, una Pasión. He is currently one of the hosts of the late-night show La Banda del Chino.
