Festa Procissão
[Procissão Party]

Dedicated to Brazilian music, the party features upbeat rhythms dancing through time and memory. The project was created eight years ago by the DJs Luiz Franco and Caue Y, highlighting different sides of Brazilian musicality and stimulating the relationship with dance. For the MIRADA dance floor, to close and celebrate this edition, the setlist will also include rare and unusual vinyl records of DJ Discolada and performances by the drag queens Égua Luka, Audácia, and Roovie Fox. 

Caue Y and Luiz Franco have been the DJs-in-residence and producers of the Procissão party since 2016. Their longstanding collaboration is reflected on how vibe as they take a timeless journey through Brazilian music classics.  

Discolada has been a DJ and vinyl record collector for a long time. In 2016, Dona  Jo assumed her artistic persona, and records are the biggest strength of her performance. She is also part of Coletiva Cesta, UH! Manas TV, and Vinilicas. Her references include reggae, jazz, soul, bossa nova, and Brazilian tunes. 

Audácia is a drag queen from the state of São Paulo who has been living in the capital city for longer than she would have liked to. A comedian, scriptwriter, lip sync artist, and a wannabe candidate in the race for your heart, she describes her work as “an afflictive journey in search of approval through the music of singer Vanusa.”  

Égua Luka is a drag artist, hostess, and performer from Belém, Pará, a place that inspires her performances with Brazilian aesthetics. With more than 2 million views on her digital content, she was on the reality TV shows Queen Stars Brasil and Você Na DiaTV, and she also performs at parties and events across Brazil. 

Roovie Fox is a drag queen from the city of São Paulo known for her lip sync performances. She has performed in important pageants and festivals and was on shows including O Grande Cabaret, Delírios Imaginários, and Vaudeville.
