Resumo
Da frieza imperturbável de algoritmos e da etérea imaterialidade das redes emergem manifestações de uma poética contemporânea. Enraizada em temporalidade que transcende nossa compreensão, fundamentada em conjuntos de dados que desafiam nossa cognição, a Inteligência Artificial (IA) surge como vernáculo que antecede o fim de tudo e profetiza a obsolescência universal. A arte e seus artífices, tradicionais agentes de subversão e resiliência diante das vicissitudes do tempo, enfrentam uma vez mais o desafio de sua própria redefinição. A IA, enquanto catalisadora de incertezas e transformações na esfera criativa, convida a questionar qual será a verdadeira magnitude de seu potencial disruptivo sobre a expressão artística. Neste artigo, serão exploradas as relações entre IA e arte, trazendo a figura do “novo artífice” como um agente essencial na configuração da estética contemporânea e, ao mesmo tempo, como um reflexo da eterna busca humana pela compreensão e transcendência de sua própria natureza.

Abstract
From the undisturbed coldness of algorithms and the ethereal intangible nature of networks arise expressions of a contemporary poetics. Rooted in a temporality that exceeds our comprehension, based on data sets that challenge our cognition, Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerges as a vernacular that foreshadows the end of everything and predicts universal obsolescence. Art and its artisans, traditional players in subversion and resilience in the face of the circumstances of time, are once again facing the challenge of redefining themselves. As a catalyst for uncertainties and transformations in the creative realm, the question arises as to the true
extent of AI’s disruptive potential for artistic expression. The relations
between AI and art will be examined, portraying the figure of the “new
craftsman” as an essential agent in the configuration of contemporary
aesthetics and, at the same time, as a reflection of the eternal human quest for the understanding and transcendence of its own nature.
