¿Dónde Están las Feministas? Conferencia Performática de una Falsa Activista
[Where Are the Feminists? Performative Conference by a False Activist]

In this performative conference, the artist and activist Liliana Albornoz Muñoz draws from her personal experience to propose a critical perspective on feminism: how it is seen today, the stereotypes that have been embedded in it, what being a feminist implies, and what incoherences we have in our attitudes. The performer presents seven chapters and an epilogue, scenes with different tones where she moves through humor, first-person account, and manifesto. As she sews all that together, she discusses affective, sexual, and family relationships, how they are evolving in a society full of mistakes and missteps, and how feminism continues to be a transformative force for society. 

Liliana Albornoz Muñoz is a multidisciplinary artist, a cultural manager, and curator. She is a grant holder for a master’s research in Performative Arts Practice And Visual Culture at Queen Sofía Museum (Spain). She is currently a performative arts professor at Universidad Cientifica Del Sur and a member of the Cultural Association Elgalpon.espacio. She is the founder of the feminist activist collective Collera Red y Marea Roja.
